[The words echo, in Roxy’s voice, her words soft, and pleading.]
It's unbearable, ain't it? Those times where you look at the world, see the things that make you happy...and the only thought that comes to mind is 'how long until all of it is taken away.' Because it will, that's what it does.
Knowing that there's nothing to be done about what you've suffered, what's hurt you, because it's not something people should go through, and the idea of people viewing you as some pitiable thing is unbearable because it's not what you want so you don't let on the truth.
You want to help people, so you make your problems seem less.
But.
All you do is box it up. Just boxing it up over and over again (void it out). Until the world takes that one thing, that one thing that's somehow letting you keep it together.
Then it all burns down. You go into a murderous rage, try to destroy what's hurt you, but then it's gone before you can wipe that smug look off his fucking clown face (the spider bitch) (the Batterwitch), and then… [Her voice cracks.]
Then it's just oblivion.
[You find yourself in Roxy’s room again. However, the bed appears to be missing, replaced with a strange machine, and bloodstains on the floor. More than that, it’s wrecked, with signs of fire and the roof partially collapsed. You can see the stringy red mass in the sky, and hear the crackle of fire. The air is thick, hot, stifling.]
[There’s also rather...violent pink scrawling all over the walls. “dun pity me” “see me” “dun leave me alone” “dun break ur promises” “its not fair” “i deserved it” “dun deserve anything” “im sorry” “sorry” “sor” “IM SORRY” “SORRYSORRYSORRYSORRY”]
[CHANGE: Many of these have been scratched out, and more encouraging messages have been placed.]
[And one wall just has one word on it, big and covering it all. “DISAPPEAR”]
["YOU DON'T HAVE TO DISAPPEAR" has also been written on that wall, but the handwriting is obviously different. The travel window seems to be gone, though the sealed window is still here. There's a crack in it, along with a note taped over it.]
["DON'T USE THIS
DON'T USE THIS
FIND SOMEONE TO TALK TO
FIND A DISTRACTION
THIS ISN'T YOUR ONLY OPTION."]
[This and a few other changes may alert you to the fact this was the first room you appeared in.]
