So Roxy is thirteen in this memory! It starts off with talking to Jake and Dirk about presents for Jane. It comes up that Jake and she both have family heirlooms in the form of rabbits and while family heirloom is Important, so is Jane, and 13 is a Big Deal Birthday. Maybe they could even dress up the bunnies to represent themselves so Jane would always have a reminder of them!
Of course then they realize Dirk doesn't have one and whoops. Okay, scratch that ide-nope. Dirk says he's got an idea for it, and logs off.
Talks to Jake for a little bit more about bunnies and Jane. Her birthday is April 13th.
After Roxy logs off, goes about her day. Feeds Carapacians, plays some video games, drinks far too much. Then Dirk contacts her. (Calls her Lalonde. Because Roxy needs to learn her name is not actually Lolonde.) He says he can get a bunny, but he needs her help. Of course Roxy is more than willing to help.
And Dirk needs to dive down to his Bro's museum. He has one full of 'priceless' stupid shit from movies. Since his Bro was a director and had this thing about irony. One of which is a bunny from a Nic Cage movie called Con Air. But he needs help getting in. Sure, there's no guards, or police, but there's some automated defenses that might still be working, plus, you know, limited amount of air Dirk can bring down. Getting in and out fast is pretty much necessary.
So Roxy does the hacker thing and finds that yes, even under water most of the systems are operational. Thank you nuclear independent generators. Gets into the system, finds the rabbit, and helps guide Dirk where he needs to go. There's some shameless flirting because hey, Dirk in swimming trunks. Dirk mostly brushes it off.
And he finally gets the rabbit and makes it home and that was how they stole a rabbit from his Bro.
