Oh yeah. We were post-avoidance, but pre-clown hell. I lost my shit a little. The second he saw me he flagged me down for help, and I thought -- I thought something else. Not that he wanted to get back together or anything, but that he was after it all happened. Instead, he just... Wanted something from me. And I could tell he was eager to get that shit and go. So I just... Wanted to diffuse that tension by letting him know he didn't have to worry about it. And instead of listening he just kind of... Freaked out and said I was doing what I always do.
