So, here's the thing. When we do stuff, more often than not, we got two motives going on. All that layer shit. Same with the Nix thing.

Going Godtier had the motive of making sure ya have a harder time staying dead this game.

But what did agreeing mean to 'This World?'

... trust, right? That conversation I heard just as I woke up. That upon being asked to die, we'd wonder "will we wake up?" And, whether or not we did wonder that, we opted to trust in you like you trusted in UU that it would be okay. And since this is your heart, we know you want us to believe in you, to take that step and know that you'd look after us.

And in turn ... us being willing to take that step gives you trust in us to allow us to see the "real burdens," the other parts of you that aren't as seen ... like Nix said. A mutual trust between both of us.

This is The Choice. You may choose the way of the Void (destruction, obfuscation of knowledge, misfortune, nothingness, irrelevancy) and turn back. Return from whence you came, only help what is seen, and leave the real burden upon others.

Or you may choose the way of the Light (illumination, certainty, knowledge, fortune, relevancy) and go forward. However, this World will only become more dangerous, and will only allow that so long as you are willing to take the only protection this World may offer. You must rid yourself of this surface mask,(this is the role only the World can see, not the real you) take hold of your real role.

[Nix gestures to the blank stone slab.] You must ascend to Godtier. (True power, flight, magical clothes, conditional immortality, always come back so long as you don’t die a hero or a villain) To do so, you must perform the ritual this World knows, that this World can create. And die on this stone slab to be reborn as the true you.
