Re: HOPE
[Also, the Hope symbol? Is now complete. CONGRATS.]
[She's smiling gently, squeezing his hand. She closes her eyes.]
Describe a view you love to see.
Re: HOPE
He grows quiet, thinking for a long moment.]
...
A beach of white sand, clear skies... water clear enough to see to the bottom for ages.
Re: HOPE
[There's quiet, a stillness to the air. Then....the world around them chances.]
[It's clear night skies, because the fireflies are still around, as is the pool, Hope symbol, and blocks, but the scene he described is now around them.]
[And Roxy is beaming.] I can create now.
Re: HOPE
You can. It's really something, isn't it...
Re: HOPE
Did I tell you...what a Rogue of Void can do?
Re: HOPE
No. All you've mentioned is that it was a passive role, instead of an active one.
Re: HOPE
A Rogue steals their aspect for the sake of others. I take the nothingness from things, so they can exist. This room needed to be fixed, because Hope is an aspect of making things a reality, so I needed it to be part of me.
And now I can make things again. I have the base I need to do it.
Re: HOPE
I'm glad, Roxy. I hope you can keep doing that.
Re: HOPE
[She smiles at him.]
I have a stronger base now than I had before.
And because everyone's worked hard to make it easier to get more pieces.
One day I'm gonna make Heart a reality.
Re: HOPE
Heart must be further in, right? I don't think I've seen it yet, anyway.
Re: HOPE
Re: HOPE
[And yet he hesitates, arms crossed tight as he stares back out at the ocean.]
Though...
...
...You don't mind if I give it another minute, do you?
Re: HOPE
It's nice to enjoy the scenery with others.
And...remember things?
Re: HOPE
Yeah.
Sometimes remembering things isn't quite so bad.
Re: HOPE
It's important to, I think.
1/2
Forgetting some things, some people... it's like having to lose them all over again, you know?
2/2
[Gonna just. Walk down to the beach and plop there. Don't care that the surf's getting my pants all wet, viva la Hod and all that.]
Re: 2/2
[Well, nothing wrong with that. She'll come join him on the beach and enjoy the peace and the fireflies.]
Re: 2/2
...
Where I lived when I was young... it looked a lot like this.
Re: 2/2
It's a beautiful place. Peaceful.
Re: 2/2
I miss it sometimes.
[All the time. Constantly. But eh. Details.]
Re: 2/2
Re: 2/2
Not an option. It's gone.
Re: 2/2
[She reaches for his hand, slowly, giving him time to pull away.]
