What about you? Before I go see Life, Doom and Rage.

[She considers for several long moments.]

"What kind of food do you like?"

I'm not sure... I don't have any memories--

[ pauses, Makoto showed him that one memory... ]

I was grilling mackerel in Gull's memory. And toast. I don't know beyond that.

"Mackerel and toast then. Good to know."

[She reaches over to touch his cheeks, and leans up to kiss his forehead.]

"That's just what I wanted to know."

[ watches her, glancing up at that ]

Since sharing food is important to you?

[She nods.]

Maybe if I get my cooking skill back, I can make some for you, too.

"I'd like that."

[ nods ]

I'll let you know when that happens.

[She beams and moves to squeeze his hands again.]

[She nods and waves a hand.]

"Eventually the Echo will probably pull you out, but I think I could send you out. Just touch an aspect and I can pull you back."
