Okay, didn't link the page for mentioning, but basically Roxy knows about the Game. She knows they're gonna play. And the memory begins with the date for the Alpha's release for Jake and Jane approaching. Of course that's in the past, so what do they do? Her and Dirk are talking about it, when Dirk brings up if Crockercorp is releasing it, there's probably a file for it somewhere. Roxy agrees and says she'd go looking in the Condesce's system.
She does and...finds it immediately. She checks and rechecks and checks a third time and there's no barriers, no blocks, no viruses. Nothing beside the usual firewalls for Roxy to get into her system which as pathetic to get through by now.
And every damn alarm bell goes off in her head.
Several things become obvious at once. The Condesce does, in fact, know they're meant to play. She knows they aim to play. She knows this is the game to lead to it. And most importantly SHE WANTS THEM TO PLAY.
She wants them to be able to play and even as Roxy downloads it, she realizes what danger they're in. The Condesce is cruel and evil. If she let's people do what they want, it's because it leads to what SHE wants. Playing means they're going to be giving into her plans. Roxy keeps an eye on things, but not once during the whole download does anything happen.

And it's then she wonders if it's really worth playing at all.

Some part of her doesn't want to give it up, but then she remembers.
It's for Jane.
Jane, her friends. Her bestest best friend, light of her life. She picks up one of her cat plushies, taking off it's wizard clothes to give to the bunny. If they're all giving bunnies of sentimental value, it's only right to make it represent them. Reminders than Jane will always have her friends with her! Or at least that's the idea. She goes to grab a box and one of the few rolls of pink wrapping paper for the box and she sends a message to Dirk about it being ready.
She fusses around her house for a few hours, cleaning things, organizing it, making some dinner from fish and pumpkin, talking Dirk all the while. Mosstly stuff about anime and such, though she expresses concern if the package will get there.
