The memory opens up in Roxy's house. Dirk is there and they are wondering where Jake and Jane are. They decide to go around LOPAN to see where they ran off too. Roxy leaves (sweet, precious) Fefeta her laptop to contact them if they come back and they go off EXPLORING. There is a lot of exploring of pyramids, Dirk and Roxy snarking at each other, and biting some skeletons and complaining about them being a bitch to beat.
There is an excessive amount of touching between Dirk and Roxy. ALL PLATONIC, but it's like they take every chance they get to be touching each other in some little way. Dirk is also pretty monotone.
Hours later, they get a message from (sweet, precious) Fefeta and they head back. Roxy is all HUH because Carapacians aren't visible, and they're usually all over her house.
Then they get inside and it's dark. Which is all kind of confusing.
THEN SUDDENLY IT IS LIGHT AND THERE IS PARTY STUFF EVERYWHERE. And cakes. So many cakes. And Jane and Jake and Fefeta and all the Carapacians and it's a Birthday Party for Dirk and Roxy.
Some comment about Jake's just being the other day, but they thought Dirk and Roxy would appreciate a surprise party and they're sorry it's combining the two, but it didn't seem like they could adequately surprise them one day after another, so they went and did them both at once and ROXY HAS SO MANY DOKIS and just hugs her friends forever. Also knows Dirk is totally doki'ing even if he's being all COOL STOIC DUDE. Dirk is December 3rd, Roxy is December 4th.
Then there is cake and party games and Mario Kart and they are just friend'ing it up for hours, way late into the night so it covers Dirk and Roxy's birthday. Not that they can tell except what the clocks say anyway.
Finally they all have to go sleep. Jake passes out on the couch and Jane is in Roxy's bed and Roxy was trying to sleep with Jane cause cuddles, but JUST KNEW A THING and went and met Dirk on the roof. Not surprised he's not asleep, because this is normal.
Asks him if he enjoyed his first real birthday party. He says yes, she agrees, there's some happy tears, he teases her about it, and she just goes not everyone can be a stoic coolkid dork, and they just sit there for a while, being the most ridiculously painfully happy things EVER.

-He's not very expressive with his body language though and that can throw Roxy when she's like 'ironic or serious.'

Carapacians! Carapacians are probably what I grew up with! They do not use words, but body language and they just kind of...are easy to understand? (There may be a slight psychic thing going on that makes their meanings specific.) The others are not so clear on what they say, but Roxy gets it pretty clearly. Curious! =O But yeah, physically mute and they do feel like something she's used to. They are pretty fond of her though.

My house is the only thing that looks like a house on LOPAN, and besides what's at my house, it just seems populated by skeletons. Which is...weird. And they release something that looks like gushers upon their death. VERY WEIRD. Also pyramids are full of puzzles and stuff and Dirk and her are good at that. And good at fighting. BIGGEST THINGS is now Roxy knows what her friends and pretty much everyone looks like because THIS BIRTHDAY IS A BIG DEAL FOR DIRK AND ROXY. First birthday party they ever got. '^' So dragging everyone into the party. Nothing truly relevant to BIG THINGS happening is said, but it just tells her some stuff about her friends. General impression of her friends. Dirk is stoic, coolkid who raps (because he'd so birthday rap.) Jake is a dork who speaks all old timey with the weird accent and SO EXCITED. Jane is pretty calm and together, but SUCH A SWEETIE and makes sure Roxy doesn't eat until she's sick. Also a DAMN GOOD BAKER.
She loves her friends. She loves everyone at this party SO MUCH, but especially her friends, and Fefeta and there are SO MANY DOKIS.
It will mean Roxy wants to connect with people more, which has been hard for her, but MORE REASONS TO TRY.
