Meaning
WAIT WHAT.
So the reassurance that Dirk still cares deeply for Roxy, he just can't be romantically into her, is very nice and sweet. '^' That's about all that pleasant in the memory.
First off, general info gained that's just kind of neutral. There are Derse and Prospit Dreamers. Considering Derse is probably all purple, this may explain why that other her was purple was indeed her dream self. Also Derse is near the Abyss, which is probably the void, which makes sense for what she knows.
Prospit dreamers may be able to see into the future.
As is, Dirk and her are Derse Dreamers. She has a tendency to drift off, so sleep walking may just be a thing with her. Dirk usually brings her back when she does this, but can't now. For some reason he's aware of his dream self? While she's is unaware. Dream self things is probably why her dreams are actually abnormal when compared to most.
Why they're Derse Dreamers and stuck around when Derse is the Batterwitch's planet, SHE DOES NOT KNOW and it's just more confusion.
Second, Roxy was being pretty dickish to Dirk! She was genuinely excited by daughter dream, but then it mixed with all her feelings for Dirk and there was definitely some passive aggressive antics going on. She doesn't WANT to be mad at Dirk, but she kind of is, and is drunk so is acting on those impulses. It's just more confirmation for Roxy that she was a travesty with Dirk and it sucks because he's super important to her, romance or no. ):
Third, that point where she was still waffling about the game. Convinced that this is part of the Batterwitch's plan. Dirk seems to agree.
Fourth, WHY DOESN'T JANE BELIEVE HER ABOUT THE DANGER? Shouldn't this be obvious? But the way they're talking implies that no, for some reason it's not obvious for Jane. As is the fact everyone is dead. And upbringing. And it hurts Roxy because it's true, but Jane won't believe her, even though Roxy knows it's reasonable for her not too. Just hurts to not be trusted. But WHY is a question Robin has and she has an answer because she knows time shenanigans are happening and she's going to come to about the right conclusion and HATE IT.
+Wanting to be believed when she says things.
+Trying to not be so skeptical of good people.
Fifth, what about mom not ever playing the role of my mom. WHAT DOES THAT MEAN. WHY WOULDN'T SHE. There will be so much distress here as Robin tries to figure it out and what it ultimately means.
Sixth, and finally, HAHA SHE WAS THE ONE WHO INVESTIGATED THE GAME IN THE FIRST PLACE. FML. She may be the reason all her friends ever got dragged into that clusterfuck. That...that won't be a good feeling.
