Mostly it's an emotional memory. Not a lot happens, but it's important because it's PROOF. It's proof family is coming. Because even though it was a dream, it was also 'real' because Homestuck is weird like that. Roxy knows it's a dream situation meeting thing. But she also knows family is coming from another timeline, so yeah. This whole thing makes sense to her.
And she's just SUPER HAPPY? Even with Callie ending everything abruptly, it just proves she was THERE. That her family was there. While she had a previous dream, it was brief. But this was a solid bit of time where she was fully coherent. She was THERE. Shew as REAL.
Her family was real, and she was coming.
Though there is the whole both saying mom bit. Which...is a thing Roxy hadn't really been thinking about, but the fact they BOTH say it is telling. Especially when Callie called her a Light player. She knows Seer of Light is supposed to be her DAUGHTER. Buuuuut Jade is grandma daughter to Jake and Roxy knows how Ectobiology works. Time travel and genetics are weird.
So chances are, her mother and daughter are the same person and that's why Callie was cagey as fuck. Which is kind of disappointing, but on the other hand, THE FIRST TIME SHE GOT TO SEE HER FAMILY IN PERSON and that's so much more of a relief than anything.
