I guess you're waiting for everyone else, huh? Do you want to play a game for a bit?

Yeah. More are coming though, and they're already in rage.

Good, good.....and of course! What do you want to play? I have an idea, but I'd like to know the sort of games you like.

I like playing any game s'long as it's with my friends.

Then we can do my idea, if you like the sound of it.

It's a story game! One of us starts it off with a sentence. Then we take turns making up the story, a sentence at a time, until it's done.

Ooooh, that does sound fun!

[smiling, pleased, and trying to intertwine their fingers in a handhold]

Once upon a time, there were two friends.

They were a knight and a rogue in a kingdom.

They worked together as a team to keep the kingdom safe, but they also protected and supported each other every day.

They were the best of friends, but [Leans forward in a whisper.] in truth, the rogue might have had a small crush on the knight.

[ears turn red]

Ah, um.....that would have been just fine, though, because the knight had a crush of their own on the rogue.

But as with all love stories, they were kinda dumb and not just willing to say it like silly gooses.

Totally, although in their defense, love stuff could be complicated and confusing.....especially for the knight, who had been too busy with her duties to really think about it before.

Totes understandable and the rogue herself never had much luck in love, so she was kinda gunshy herself.

Still, one day, the knight got a piece of paper and managed to write a letter to the rogue about her feelings, because she was tired of being confused and also didn't think she'd be any good at doing the same thing with the spoken word.

[Considers and]

[I am sorry, Hydra, she is a bit of a troll.]

And the knight sent the letter....

But then she heard that someone had kidnapped the messenger!

[HOW MEAN]

Ahh.....so of course the knight jumped on her horse and rode off to save them, forgetting in her panic to tell the rogue where she was going....because the knight could be silly like that sometimes.

[Story needs drama!]

It was very silly of the knight, but the rogue was quite used to that, and really, who else would you said to rescue a kidnapped person besides a stealth expert?

All very true......the knight was no good a stealth herself, though, and got captured as well.....but she wasn't afraid, because she trusted the rogue to find her somehow and help.

The rogue was very unsurprised by these turn of events, may even scold the knight later to let her scout things, it's what she does, but for now she had to make a plan of rescue without the bad guys bein' none the wiser.

Luckily, the bad guys hadn't read the letter yet, which they had assumed to be important top secret war plans, so there was time for the rogue to figure out a way into their hidden castle before they dealt with the knight.

She soon found a way into the castle and where the prisoners were kept, but then she had another problem, how to get them both OUT without being noticed, and eventually she figured out what she needed was a distraction!

Meanwhile, the knight was working on how to break herself and the messenger loose from their bindings - they shared a cell, you see - when the moment of escape came, and realized the chains were very rusty, even brittle.....they would break easily with the right application of force.
