[ Negative feelings limiting you ... Breath is about freedom, about the lack of those limitations so you can find the path you need to be on. He focuses on that, the idea that even if she's alone in here, even though things could be different in here, it's not focusing on what could have been different that will make it easier. That only traps you in a place that doesn't exist, isn't real. Even if it seems better than the reality, nothing changes in reality, you can't break free, you can't get anywhere. Is that what she really wanted for you? He's not trying to replace the loneliness in the room, but rather try to show that there's a path, a way that will lead to other things that will start to fill that feeling of empty loneliness.

Along with that he tries to bring those feelings forth with a gentle breeze, so maybe the air of the house could feel less stale, less alone. ]

Tossing a concerned glance to Lucciola before he heads out of the room, following the sound. ]

[It's down at the other end of the hall, through another door.]

[ Crosses over to the other side of it, then, listening near both of the doors to figure out which it's coming from. ]

[Seems to be the far door, at the very end of the wall. It's faint though, nowhere near the door.]

[ INTO THE FAR DOOR HE GOES THEN. Slowly opens it up, and peeks inside, voice gentle. ]

Roxy?

[There are a whole lotta pumpkins in this observatory.]

[Crying coming from the other side of the gourd hoard.]

Woah--!

[ CREEPS AROUND THE HOARD THEN to find the Roxy. It's like an adventure. ]

[Don't give too much, they don't have self control, you're the only one who can watch the moderation. There's only so much you can get at once, but always have a reserve for the bad times. Careful, careful, careful, you're the only one who can do this, you're all alone in this effort.]

[And on the other side of the pumpkins is Roxy.]

[Who looks to be only about five years old, crying into her knees.]

Doesn't get too close to her, and keeps his voice gentle to get her attention. ]

[She jumps, head whipping up, startled.]

[ Gives her an apologetic look, but also a smile, staying in place. ]

[She just...stares at him.]

[Then a motion, a question. Who are you?]

My name is Rook. I was just passing by and seeing if there was something I could do to help here. Sorry if I scared you!

What's wrong?

[She grimaces, rubbing at her ears. That...that is a lot of verbal words she's expected to answer, it's taking her a minute to parse it out.]

Ah, then...

[ Motions to himself. ] I'm Rook!

[ And then he motions to her tear-streaked face, with a look of concern. He figures that can cover the other two issues. Wanting to help, wondering why she's crying. ]

[Rook....you don't look like a chess person.]

[She scrubs at her face. Just something in her eye!]

[ I am the chessiest chess person.

He smiles a little, though, when she does that, and then looks around the room, waving a hand at the pumpkins. ]

You ... you're helping?

[She is doubting your chess personness, you look too pink for it, and have hair.]
