[ He looks back to her, trying to use some of his power to convey what he did earlier. To show that's why he's here, maybe help her feel it if he can get this room to feel less heavy like he did earlier. To help. To let her know she's not alone, she doesn't have to be alone. ]

Help ... we want to help.

[ His expression reflects that. Hesitant; he doesn't want to unsettle her. Warm; because he know how cold it feels, to be all by yourself. Welcoming; because she's timid, she's nervous, but he wants to let her know that he's there, and he'll wait for her at her own pace. ]

[Slowly, she moves closer to him. Watching him warily.]

[ He's a very real person with a chess name.

He keeps his body language non-threatening, relaxed, as welcoming as possible. He crouches a little, but that's it, and smiles at her. ]

[She approaches slowly, looking him over before finally...poking him.]

And he is solid.

And he lets out a tiny, breathy laugh when she does that, totally fine with it and inviting more if she wants it. ]

[ Laughs a little again. ]

[ Well, this seems to be amusing her, and that poking DOES feel hilarious, so he'll indulge her a bit more and keep up with the laughter, only now since he's amused too it's just getting funny so he's laughing a little harder. ]
