The rogue kept a cool facade, which was really hard 'cause the knight was being supes cute, but safety first!

The rogue was always better at being all cool and calm, it was true, unlike the knight who couldn't look anyone in the eyes all the way back to the kingdom.

It was once they were sure the messenge was safe that the rogue made her move, presenting a letter to the knight; except it wasn't her letter.

The knight slowly takes it and even more slowly opens it.....

And it was a letter addressed to her, a love letter!

As the knight was a silly person sometimes, she could hardly believe what she was reading until she got to the end of the letter, and by then she was almost too flustered to speak.

"....You couldn't have signed your name this one time?" the knight asked, still flustered but laughing now, happy as well as nervous.

"Of course not," the rogue said with a smug grin though it kind of faltered as she shrugged, "i might have gotten nervous."

"I bet you're more nervous than you're acting," the knight replied, moving to hug the rogue who was her important friend no matter what became of these other feelings, "but, that's fine."

"Shhhh we do not question my acting skills," the rogue said because it was really true, but was relieved when the knight hugged her, returning the embrace, "i was surprised when i found your letter."

"And I was surprised to read yours......but neither of us should have been, really, thinking about it."

"It was kinda obvious, and it does explain the looks all of our friends have been giving us."

"......Our friends have been giving us looks?"

[real surprise, as though almost forgetting this was a story game and not a real conversation]

"Of course they have, they all have shipper hearts, no matter what they say."

[H-hydra....]

".....Well, what they think or don't think about us isn't that important, so long as we're happy and stuff," the knight replies with a shrug.

"Happiness is the most important part of any relationship," the rogue agreed and then because she's a rogue, stole a kiss!

Th....um....th-that was the moment when the knight decided that, while the rogue was very good at stealing and was, in fact, supposed to be good at stealing, she would give her so many kisses that she wouldn't need to steal any more of them....so she did, sweeping the rogue into her arms and carrying her off into the sunset.
