Ah, so like claustrophobic? We grew up next to the ocean too. In a more rural area though.

there was that. also the food issue cuz fishing can only get so much. but the ocean always seemed like an impenetrable wall to get anywhere where things might have been better.

I can't imagine what that must've been like. The ocean, it's always been a connecting force for me. When I studied abroad as a kid, that's what separated me from my friends. But standing before it, it was like I knew they were just across the water and maybe they were standing there too. It's where I went when I missed them.

At Kyriakos, the water serves the same purpose. It makes me think of back home. So thinking of it as an impenetrable wall is pretty scary.

usually i could ignore it. its just water. not like water decided to take away the food. not like water kept dirk from me. just a constant but then things would happen. its hiding the secrets of kyriakos. teammates would try to throw their shards in the cove to be rid of them.

it was hard to ever really like the water. another chain.

but then haru.

cascade talked about it. its actually p funny.

its like when i talk bout the void. he knows how terrifying it can be but its still wonderful to him.

Water's different to him. It's special. The connection is between just the two of them. It can actually be pretty frustrating sometimes.

tho i gotta admit i am less just jump in whenever it pops up but seems like he can resist when hes motivated. its p cute.

Seriously? I've only ever seen him refuse it when he's out of sorts. And motivation's never really been a big thing with Haru, not without a push. But he really wanted to help you. I think it also gives him something he has some say in here. With everything else that's happened since he woke up.

so he resisted water when it came up n obvs was gonna get in the way. it sounds like theres a lot of things that confuse him and make him uncertain but he wants to try. he rly rly wants to try.

he actually reminds me a lot of me. and of dirk. but i think that also means when he figures out what he needs to hes gonna be an incredible friend to have slong as hes got the right ppl supporting him though im not too worried bout that.

dirk is....well hes kind of awkward. he acts all cool and calm and that he doesnt need silly things like emotions but its p obvs he feels a lot of things. he just doesnt kno how to show it very well.

also happens to be a prince of heart. prince being a more active destroyer than a passive bard so p funny.

but dirks dedicated protective and super loyal. id actually go sleepwalking in the void on derse and hed always bring me back.

He was worried about Belt. I wanted him to understand there were still things he could do. Even if it wasn't for her.

in basic terms....

if roxy wasnt a void player this would probs be true heart. all she is all she could be without the everything gettin in the way.

[She gestures out to the world before them and all the people below.] basis right now is entropis. a planet we made in one of anagrams games. mix with a bit of kyriakos and a bit of other places. but making entropis was the first time i felt something like godtierring in kyriakos. that feeling of completion and nirvana. made sense with the rogue of void thing. fully realized would be something like a benevolent creator god.

and all of this well.

its my wish.

to see everyone able to be happy and healthy. to enjoy their lives.

hmmm yeah.

pretty sure its why most ppl like me they sense im that kind of person. at least its one of the theories for how im pparently popular it is one of those mysteries i cant get my head around.
