Re: RAGE
Date: 2015-02-02 04:04 am (UTC)[And you're told you're a wolf. You see the rules and if you're not lynched the first night, you'll have to choose a team to die.]
[But you can't. You can't you can't you can't.]
[You do everything and anything you can without breaking the rules. Act off, act upset, act so not you and hope, pray, wish someone will NOTICE and vote for your team and kill you off now because you can't, you CAN'T kill someone else. You can leave people, but you can't kill another team deliberately.]
[But it doesn't work. Worse, is both teams that are up are not wolves.]
[And you're panicking, terrified, and you don't want this. You want to end this game, BREAK IT, and if you just break the rules....it'll kill you and one other team.]
[But the team you're closest too are either like minded, or likely to be chosen to be lynched this round.]
[You, Sol, find yourself on a stage. Everyone is looking at you.]
[Do you confess?]
[GUESS WHO GETS TO LEARN ABOUT CRY WOLF?]
Re: RAGE
Date: 2015-02-02 04:13 am (UTC)...After a minute, shaking, he says...]
Are... Are you guys blind? I've been dropping every hint I can without outright saying it, but you can't pick that up? I'm not subtle, you guys!
[Yes he'll confess. Shaking, and with tears, but he'll confess.
Because in the end, Miss Emotions Don't Work Here did mention Cry Wolf happened. That was the thing with the vines. If it had worked, it would have minimized the death. But it didn't.
But trying to change it would be like denying it.
He's not going to deny it. But he is going to yell at it.]
Re: RAGE
Date: 2015-02-02 04:18 am (UTC)[The vines come, they wrap around you, and the teams are still up, still going to DIE without any mercy, and it's guilt and horror, and you already hate yourself, but you could deal, you could deal, you could fool yourself into thinking you could deal-]
[Except it keeps going. Epona confesses, and it would be a lie to say part of you hadn't predicted that, that they would cave under your confession, that maybe it was a hope to end the game more quickly even if thought filled you with self loathing, but when you could have dealt before, but not now, because it doesn't end.]
[It doesn't end it doesn't end it doesn't end and you have started a chain reaction of people refusing, or breaking rules, and everyone is dying dying dying and it's EVERYONE and it's all your fault, because you see it now. You see it's in the rules now, and you should have seen BEFORE, but you DIDN'T.]
[You see everyone die, see all the people you KILLED because of your own incompetence and fear.]
Re: RAGE
Date: 2015-02-02 12:59 pm (UTC)And maybe a little bit of frustration at the teams who couldn't see the obvious. If they had only bothered to look, this could have been avoided... But really the fault lies solely on the Echo.
...Sorry, there may be more vomit. Assuming he's still alive to do so at the moment.]
Re: RAGE
Date: 2015-02-03 05:07 am (UTC)[At the very least the game has finally ended. There's still all the bodies though, still tangled up in vines, but you're free.]
[And so's Roxy, staring at the bodies with blank eyes.]
Re: RAGE
Date: 2015-02-03 11:43 am (UTC)Re: RAGE
Date: 2015-02-03 04:54 pm (UTC)[Then she tries to push him away.] Don't.
Re: RAGE
Date: 2015-02-03 06:33 pm (UTC)but he'll reach to take your hand instead, unless you flinch away from that too
you need comfort, and he needs to distract himself by providing it]
...Which Echo was it?
Re: RAGE
Date: 2015-02-04 10:41 pm (UTC)Yaksinis.
Re: RAGE
Date: 2015-02-05 01:33 am (UTC)In that case, are there any vines still around that he could set on fire without burning any corpses or causing a chain reaction that would be bad? Because if so he's going to set vines on fire. Call it stress relief.]
...Yaksinis, huh. That same Echo that was working with Nyssa that other time.
They're to blame. For all of this.
[And he does mean all.]
Re: RAGE
Date: 2015-02-05 01:44 am (UTC)It was in the rules. Loopholes I should have spotted.
Re: RAGE
Date: 2015-02-05 01:50 am (UTC)I told Miss Emotions Don't Work Here this, and I'll tell you too. You did everything you could to try and prevent more death. You made a mistake, but you tried as hard as you could.
Mistakes don't make you a bad person.
Re: RAGE
Date: 2015-02-05 02:04 am (UTC)I should have known better. I know games. I know loopholes and the secret stuff.
Re: RAGE
Date: 2015-02-05 02:35 am (UTC)You did what you thought would mean less deaths at the time. Nobody's perfect, right? So just learn from it for next time.
Re: RAGE
Date: 2015-02-05 02:51 am (UTC)Yeah.
Don't try.

Date: 2015-02-06 02:34 am (UTC)I probably would've done the same thing.
Re: RAGE
Date: 2015-02-06 02:36 am (UTC)Re: RAGE
Date: 2015-02-06 02:46 am (UTC)He'll just hack off another piece of vine to burn because seriously.]
If I wasn't the only one playing? Then yeah, I guess. But that's not really the point.
Look. If you hadn't done that, if you'd just shut up, and it had been dragged out, and it turned out that they were seriously that blind and everyone ended up dying except you, you'd regret not having spoken up, right?
Re: RAGE
Date: 2015-02-06 02:51 am (UTC)If the wolves played along, at least three teams would have lived.
