Re: DOOM
[Suddenly you feel constricted, thorns digging into your body. Red vines that are painfully ripping your life out of you, bleeding you out, tearing your flesh, until finally….you die.]
[Tick.]
[Heroic]
[Tock.]
[Just]
[BONG]
[You feel your body break down again, as it did for godtier, pulling, pulling everything back, until you snap back, whole, in the air. Completely fine.]
Re: DOOM
[Fiere floats quickly over, to fuss over his human because dying all of a sudden is Not Good.
Sol, meanwhile, will need a moment. Not because of the death, exactly, but because of how sudden it was and where exactly do red thorny vines come into it]
Re: DOOM
That would be Cry Wolf.
TPK. Total Party Kill. The whole game died.
Re: DOOM
[Even in the worst games, Echoes don't just kill everybody. Maybe half, but not everybody.]
Re: DOOM
Re: DOOM
Re: DOOM
[She's playing with the crown idly.]
The Game was about rooting out the wolves. Every day would be a lynching, and every night would be a wolf feeding as long as they were alive.
If you broke the rules, didn't vote, revealed yourselves as wolves, etc, your team and the team closest to you would die.
Ratatoskr were wolves.
I confessed. And it started a domino effect of everyone breaking under pressure, until finally, everyone was dead.
Re: DOOM
No way...
...
[...Okay yeah Sol's gonna need another moment to process this
Mostly because his knee-jerk reaction would be to immediately deny that it's her fault, and while that remains his opinion he's trying to think before he shounens, really he is...
Thinking is hard though.]
Re: DOOM
She caved under the pressure first. Then everyone followed along even when it became obvs it wasn't working.
[A spark. Denial isn't your friend in this room.]
Re: DOOM
Roxy has no reason to lie about it having happened. And it also helps explain why she was so freaked out about the vines after that one game.
But still. Roxy is a good person. She wouldn't have killed everyone on purpose, not unless...]
...You didn't think it would happen that way, did you. You confessed because you thought it would mean less death, not more.
Re: DOOM
One less wolf, more chance to end it in another round, if Epona didn't cave under pressure, which had been a possibility I thought was likely to happen. Both wolves gone, game's over, all done.
I didn't read the rules closely enough.

Re: DOOM
Re: DOOM
[He's not good at this but he's trying :/]
...But if Doom is supposed to be understanding...
[Maybe over here it's not so much guilt that it happened so much as...]
...A record, then? Not forgetting that it happened?
Re: DOOM
Re: DOOM
[...all right so what about the purple scarf. It'll probably kill him too but now that he's expecting it he may be more wondering what happened there and less nervous about it.]
Re: DOOM
[A mother will always do what is best for her child.]
[You're slow to bleed out, but you do.]
[Tick.]
[Heroic]
[Tock.]
[Just]
[BONG]
[You feel your body break down again, as it did for godtier, pulling, pulling everything back, until you snap back, whole, in the air. Completely fine.]
Re: DOOM
Sorry, Fiere.
[He's just trying to get it and not succeeding. If it's not a record, then...]
...That was your mom, right?
Re: DOOM
Re: DOOM
Re: DOOM
What are you going for?
Re: DOOM
...I can't even pretend to know how that feels. At least I had some time with my mom, before she died.
Re: DOOM
I'm not the feelings, Sol.
Re: DOOM
[He's still not very good at this, can you tell?]
Doom is understanding... You're not emotional, you're not just a reminder... Acceptance that it happened?
