[You're outside and you’re amongst fire and structurally unsound buildings. There are also corpses of the black and white Carapacians, blood red as humans, and all very dead. You can see the red stringy mass in the sky, and in the distance you can hear rockets.]

UU: and they have been doing so to yoUrs and its many instances for eons.
UU: only now have they caUght Up to yoUr instance. it is qUite fortUnate it has taken so long, really.
UU: some instances are tUcked deeper in the speaker's mighty blow sack, and will hold oUt for mUch longer, on a vast cosmic scale of coUrse.

[ tightens his fist, going through these feelings. he's glaring at the ground. is this what Rook warned him about trauma games? and while he's wanting to just jack up his powers and attempt to destroy it all, this would be going against things he talked to Doom about. this would be erasing parts of Roxy that made her... her. there can be change done here, but it can't be through removal and destruction by that means.

maybe if he knew her better, maybe if he understood more of her. what would she do? every fiber of him is screaming to confession, but is that the choice he should take? the people he's supposed to work with as a team, as allies. but this is Roxy's heart. it's not about how he feels, it's about her. and this feeling, this awful dread is telling him to step forward and confess, consequence be damned.

so, yes. yes he is going to step forward and confess with his body shaking ]

[The vines come, they wrap around you, and the teams are still up, still going to DIE without any mercy, and it's guilt and horror, and you already hate yourself, but you could deal, you could deal, you could fool yourself into thinking you could deal-]

Epona confesses, and it would be a lie to say part of you hadn't predicted that, that they would cave under your confession, that maybe it was a hope to end the game more quickly even if thought filled you with self loathing, but when you could have dealt before, but not now, because it doesn't end.]

You see it's in the rules now, and you should have seen BEFORE, but you DIDN'T.]

[ through the scene, even if he wants to close his eyes and look away, that would be even more cowardly of a thing to do. he can't. this was his choice and one he doesn't know if it was right or wrong. how could he know? none of it makes sense. this entire world he's been thrust into makes no sense. all he can do is be wrapped in these vines.

the vines he felt earlier. ah. whatever he touched-- and he still doesn't know it was his own team-- triggered this feeling. there was no way to save anyone, was there? the point was psychological warfare, so the echo won, didn't it?

he... doesn't know what to think. what to feel. but he can't fight it, either way. not without destroying something he shouldn't ]

[Death comes, and only then does the game end.]

[You're free of the vines, even as other bodies are still covered in them.]

[And there's Roxy, just staring at it all blankly.]
